Asbestos Building & Site Rep - 1 Day

This course fulfills NESHAP 40 CFR Part 61.145(c)(8), requiring a trained on-site representative for asbestos activities, with refresher training every two years. Training covers applicability, notifications, material identification, removal controls (wetting, negative pressure, glove bags, HEPA), waste disposal, reporting, recordkeeping, and worker protection, with evidence posted on-site. Designed for non-accredited personnel such as building owners and managers, it introduces asbestos basics, locations, health risks, liabilities, inspections, and remediation, helping participants understand their responsibilities without accrediting them for asbestos work. It can also support AHERA Designated Persons in meeting training requirements.
