Description

This online course meets OSHA’s Class III training requirements to conduct and supervise asbestos repair and cleanup activities on all materials. Activities include disturbances to asbestos materials that occur during repairs and maintenance up to 1 disposal bag or glove bag. Also meets AHERA training requirements for school maintenance personnel performing repairs and minor cleanups on asbestos materials.

Students attending this 1/2 day refresher class need to have successfully completed the 2-day Asbestos O&M (OSHA Class III) initial course. Proof of this training will need to be provided for students not taking the initial class from TSI.

Online Webinar Procedure

Notice: Zoom invitations will be sent out in the afternoon 1 day before the course.

Online webinars are provided using the Zoom Video Conferencing Meeting program. Meeting invitations will be emailed after registration prior to the training. The meeting can be attended using multiple devices including a computer (preferred), tablet, and smartphone. These devices will need to have a camera and microphone to verify student attendance and allow the student to participate in the training. Students can use multiple devices to achieve this.

All students are requested to submit a front view picture of themselves we will edit for their course certificate. Additionally, students who did not take their last refresher from TSI are requested to submit a copy of their last training certificate and a picture of their most recent state asbestos license displaying a picture. TSI students from last year do not need to submit additional information.
